Overview:

This is a Recreation Technician position that will work in conjunction with full-time BLM Recreation Staff to effectively monitor and maintain recreation sites and services in the Cedar City Field Office.

Responsibilities: • Collect Trafx Counters • Trail maintenance and construction • Recreation facility maintenance • Special Recreation Permit processing • GIS data work • GPS data collection and data management • RMIS • Conducting Wilderness Characteristics Inventory

Qualifications:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills • Experience working in an outdoor setting • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Experience operating a 4x4 vehicle in rugged terrain
